Healing Harmonies at North Mid

Royal Free Charity recently hosted a heartwarming performance by a local community choir in North Mid’s atrium. The choir's songs brought joy to patients, staff, and visitors, creating a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere for those passing through the atrium.

Performing a mix of classical and contemporary songs, the choir's music provided comfort and distraction from the clinical environment. This is the second time that the Rowantree choir have performed at North Mid, following from a visit in 2023.

Patients and visitors expressed gratitude for the emotional relief the music provided. One patient, said, "I took a seat and just listened to the choir, and it took my mind off my treatment for a little while."

rfc This event is part of the wider efforts for the Royal Free Charity to support the patients, staff and local community at North Mid across a variety of projects. Future performances are planned to make music a regular feature in the hospital's atrium setting.

The choir's visit to North Mid was a resounding success, and we look forward to hosting more performances at other sites in the future.
