The Care Quality Commission (CQC) makes sure that hospitals, care homes, dental and general practices and other care services in England provide people with safe, effective and high-quality care, and encourages them to improve.
CQC has four ratings: outstanding, good, requires improvement and inadequate. Currently North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust's overall rating is "requires improvement".
