Easter joy spread across North Mid with over 500 Easter eggs donated
In a sweet gesture of community support, local businesses and individuals have come together to spread joy this Easter season. Over 500 Easter eggs were donated to paediatric patients at the North Mid, bringing smiles and cheer to children and their families.
The generous donations poured in from organizations that have supported North Mid Charity in the past and continue to show a willingness to support their local community.
Among the contributors were Natwest Bank Fore Street, members of Nuffield Health Gym Enfield, staff at Alstom, and members of Virgin Active Gym Crouch End.
Mete Redif, charity manager at North Middlesex University Hospital Trust, expressed gratitude on behalf of the hospital staff and patients, stating, "These donations have brought immense joy to our young patients and their families. It’s sometimes difficult for children and young people to understand why they need to visit a hospital, but donations like these go a long way in alleviating some of the stress and anxiety which can be caused by a hospital visit”.
The Easter egg donations not only brought joy to the young patients but also served as a reminder of the compassion and generosity which resides in our local community. North Mid is lucky to have such wonderful and caring community who come together to look after their own.
